I like to use the word Passion interchangeably with words such as Determination, Belief and Love. Passion is a strong desire that can get you to do amazing things, but without action, it will yield nothing worthwhile. When you have passion, you will do what you love and love what you do. Choose something you will never regret in life and follow your heart. When something you love becomes a part of you, it essentially and inevitably changes the way in which you interact with it. In order to realise this, you need to take some time to figure out what you really love and what it means to you, emotionally, spiritually, mentally or even socially.
Plan carefully, with a lot of networking and well-designed navigation of the routine of day to day tasks. You need to do the things that are not easy, the things that are a little too hard, take a little too long, or are little too uncertain. Try also not be too perfect and controlling, just tell yourself that I am a better person because I am a mom and I am a better mom because of my passion. At the end of the day you have to make it work for you and only then will it ultimately work for everyone around you. This is positivity and stay that way no matter what.
Try to identify what you value in life, is it achievement, security or purpose? Once you have taken the time to understand your own priorities and talents, then do some research in order to have the courage to dive in. More often it is nothing more than fear that holds us back from choosing or chasing our passion. The moment you say I will do this, Do It. If you commit something, follow through on that promise. If you love something, do it with passion. If you go to work, you paint, you are a builder, writer, a runner, make sure it is something you are passionate about. Remember your passion is the energy of your life and that everything you do with passion will make you feel fulfilled and happy.
Somehow we allow obligation or fear of other people’s opinions to make us do something, and yet these things do not motivate us, excite us, make us smile or just fill us with energy at all. Identify people in your network and beyond your passion or even close to what you do. Get an opportunity to talk to these people, read up as much as you can on what they do. Study, learn and gradually you will see what your passion reveals of you. Sooner or later in life you will find another person who wants to make a change in their life, but doesn’t want to take the risk. This will be a perfect opportunity to share your passion thereby letting the other person let go of their fear of the unknown.
You will make mistakes and have failures points along the way, but keep your head up, forgive yourself fast, and keep moving forward. You are the author of your life, do not settle for the bare minimum just because it is working out right now. You will never know what you are truly capable of unless you push yourself. So do what you love, and love what you do.
