Welcome to yet another exciting edition of your favourite entrepreneurship magazine, Fempreneurs Africa. As usual, we have gone out to try and bring you articles that we believe will uplift you, keep you motivated and inspired in your journey as a business person. So without further ado, let’s delve into what we have in store for you this month.
Our Fempreneur of the Month, Ruvarashe Manyonga, is a writer and an entrepreneur. Find out more about how this young woman reaches out to her peers and supports their writing dreams and ambitions, enabling them to express themselves in a world that does not often want to hear the young people.
As we are at the beginning of yet another year, we also have articles to help you think back on the past year and plan for 2022 if you haven’t already done so. We will all obviously be planning for growth and we have several articles focusing on how you can grow your business in this year.
The covid pandemic has left many of us with weakened mental reserves. It’s easy to feel like giving up on your journey and perhaps moving to other countries or continents where the pastures are greener. We have articles to help you strengthen your mindset ad enable you to stick to your resolve to run a business successfully. The story of a fempreneur who experienced post natal depression may be relevant to those of you who just had new babies. And yes, men too experience post natal depression and can benefit from this article.
We will be hosting quarterly events for our Fempreneurs starting end of March with an exhibition. Please follow us on our Instagram page to get updates of where, when and how you can be a part of this. Let’s have fun together, building our networks and growing our businesses at these events. Our instagram handle is www.instagram.com/fempreneurs_africa .
And finally on to our competition of the month. This month we are giving away a date for two at Misty Walk, lessons in writing poetry and an opportunity to get your poetry published in an anthology on the topic of love. You have until the 15th of February to submit your poem (it must be in English and on a word document) to our Fempreneurs whatsapp number +263719863610 or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org .
That being said, let me take the opportunity to wish each and every single one of you a prosperous 2022.
Lots of Love,
